Interview with Harry Belafonte

A conversation from 1976 when Belafonte did his first German tour, almost twenty years since his world known hit "Day O". "People have realized me as an entertainer and a person who is engaged against the Vietnam war and against any kind of violence", he sais. He finds critical words to the US-President in those days, Gerald Ford and not long before the election to his challenger Jimmy Carter. "People should live for one another", is one of his important statements in this interview. He also speaks about his work with other world famous artists.
